Postcasts and Notebooks

So yesterday I had this big idea to start a podcast. I think it was the Katy/Drunk Patty Facebook Live last week that had me thinking. It was SO much fun and easy. I love talking with funny women and can find something to say about most any subject — probably not sporty things, though. There are enough people with sporty podcasts, though, right? I’d so not be Sporty Spice — I’d be more like Netflix Spice.

Like anything extraordinarily important in my life, the podcast idea deserves its own spiral notebook. Yeah, I’m a spiral notebook (and purple pen) junkie. I order both in bulk from Amazon like a survivalist stocking up on canned goods. Hey, if the Armageddon shows up, I want to be able to brainstorm about podcasts and texting cats.

I’ve been researching equipment needed for said podcast and will jot my ideas in my new notebook. I have nothing else to say about this, except I’m super excited about the idea and I know that if I put it out there, I’ll feel more accountable to make it happen.

Would you listen to this mystery podcast?

  1. Absolutely yes! Angie, your humor hits me just the right way. So please, discuss pets, movies versus books, bingeworthy tv, dealing with over-sharing neighbors, annoying drivers, clueless celebrities, suburban wildlife, 80’s rock & roll, why squirrels have so much trouble getting across a road, the disturbance of early morning garbage trucks, and most importantly CATS. Whatever you present will cheer my day, make me laugh and most importantly put out good vibes in a world that needs sorely more positivity.

    1. Thanks, Laura! Your comment definitely gives me motivations. 🙂

Oh man! That sounds like fun. I do enjoy podcasts! I’m presuming you are planning on a video rather than strictly audio podcast?

    1. Oooh — I hadn’t even thought of that, but yes!

  3. I would listen to/watch anything you put out there. Sounds like fun!

    1. Thanks, Kerry!

  4. I love to laugh and I love cats, so what’s not to love about this idea? I’ll be interested in anything you have to say! It would be perfect timing for me, too, because my favorite podcast is no longer available. If your podcast idea becomes reality, would you be able to make them available for download on iTunes as well? Being able to listen from my phone without having to log in to Facebook would be so much easier.

    1. That’s my plan! Stay tuned for more info. 🙂

  5. Where do I sign up? I’m in need of humor, quite often we are in the same wavelength, and I enjoy everything I’ve read so far. Bring it on… I’m awaiting (patiently)

    1. Stay tuned, Dee! I’m hoping to have the first one up in the beginning of May!
